Pelvic & Trans-vaginal scan
Full bladder for pelvic; empty for TVS.
Abdomen & KUB scan
6 hours fasting recommended.
Thyroid & Neck scan
No preparation needed.
Breast ultrasound
No preparation needed.
Musculoskeletal (MSK)
Wear loose clothing over the area.
Small parts & Scrotal
No preparation needed.
Doppler studies (arterial/venous)
Stay hydrated; avoid smoking 2h before.
